Most jobs can be completed in 1-2 days. We typically allocate 1 day for removal and 1 day for installation, give or take depending on the size and complexity of the space.

We guarantee to comply if not exceed, all manufacturer, local and federal guidelines or codes pertaining to the recommended installation practices of any home efficiency product such as but not limited to: Attic insulation, batted insulation, foam insulation, solar attic fans, radiant barriers, and ducting services…. If in the case of any improper installation of any of these products are to occur, Superior Attic will return to the job site listed to re-install the product properly. This will be at no additional charge to the home owner.
We do offer spray foam services, but more than likely your home was NOT designed for spray foam.
Spray foam does perform better than fiberglass in most cases, but should not be considered as an “apples to apples” product. Spray foam changes the entire dynamic of your home’s energy “envelope” and should be considered as a complete redesign. Also, the spray foam conversation changes greatly between foam on the rafters of your attic, or foam in the walls of your house.
If your home was designed to breathe and exhaust, we have a strategic system for the majority of retrofit installs that considers the original home design, and is in most cases more cost efficient than spray foam.
It’s entirely up to you, but you don’t have to leave the house when we’re working. On the first day as we remove your old insulation there can be a bit of noise as we move around the attic, pull out old material, and run our vacuum. However, the process of sanitizing and insulating is pretty quiet. Beyond that, our crew is courteous and professional, so you can certainly feel comfortable in your home while we work in your attic.
Our process is people and pet-friendly the entire way, so there's no need to worry about coming into contact with anything hazardous while we work. We'll work until we're finished, but will certainly cut our day off if you need some quiet for dinnertime.
